Why haven't I had a booking yet?

The most common reasons and the quick fixes that actually work.

If you've been approved but haven't had a booking yet, don't worry - there are a few things that make a big difference.

Check these first:

1. Is your availability up to date? Families search by availability. If your schedule isn't set, you won't appear in matches. Go to your profile - Work Status & Availability and make sure it reflects when you're actually free.

2. Do you have a profile photo? Sitters with a clear, friendly photo are significantly more likely to be booked. No sunglasses, no group shots - just a warm photo of your face.

3. Is your bio complete? Your bio is what families read before they agree to meet you. Tell them about your experience with children, why you love working with kids, and what makes you reliable. Aim for at least 3-4 sentences.

4. Are your work locations broad enough? Check how many suburbs you've listed. More locations = more potential matches. Even adding 2-3 nearby suburbs can make a difference.

5. Are you available for evenings and weekends? Most families need care on evenings and weekends. If your availability is limited to weekday mornings, matches will be fewer. Still nothing after 3 weeks?
