How long does matching take?

We aim to introduce you to a sitter as quickly as possible often the same day, depending on availability in your area.

Here's what affects timing:

• Your suburb
  We match by location first. If you're in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington, or Christchurch, we usually have strong sitter availability. For other areas, it may take a little longer.

• Your requirements
  If you have specific needs (infants, special needs experience, overnight care), we take extra care to find the right match (this can add a day or two).

• Time of year
  We're busiest around school holidays and summer.
  During peak periods, matching may take 2-3 business days.
  
  What happens after you're matched?

  We'll email you to introduce your sitter. You can message them through the platform, ask questions, and arrange a meet if you'd like, before anything is confirmed.
  
  If the first match doesn't feel right, just let us know. We'll find another option. You're never locked in.
